Desteny is a fur-free, understated puffer coat in a matte cream fabric worked with horizontal quilted panels. The wide, pointed collar stands up at the nape to shield the neck from the wind; it fastens at the front with concealed snap buttons. There is a tie belt in the same fabric at the waist, snap-adjust tabs at the cuffs and concealed pockets on either side. The dropped-shoulder, slightly loose cut falls past the hip and ends on the upper thigh on the model; when the belt is tied, this volume gathers at the waist for a more feminine shape. You can also leave the belt open for a relaxed look. Paired with black leather leggings and chunky-soled boots it suits weekday office or café plans, while a high-neck beige knit and straight trousers make for a more elegant autumn combination.
