How can I tell real fur?
In real fur the hairs grow from natural leather; part them and you see hide, not woven fabric. Hair tips taper naturally and the touch is soft and alive. Every piece in our store is real fur; detailed tests are in our guide.
Which fur type suits me?
Mink is the durable everyday classic, fox brings dramatic volume, astrakhan a graphic and light silhouette, sable the top-segment investment. Our fur types guide compares them; trying them side by side in store is the surest way.
Why do fur coat prices span such a wide range?
Fur type and pelt quality, the length of the piece, colour work and the craft of collar and lining all set the price. A short vest and a full-length sable naturally sit in different segments; each product page shows its current price.
Can I order a made-to-measure fur coat?
Yes. With four decades of atelier experience we shape length, collar and cut to your measurements, in store or remotely with our sizing guide. Timing and price are agreed together based on the model.
What is silky fur, and how is it different from shearling?
Silky refers to lamb fur worked with long, smooth hair that lies flat and reflects light softly. Shearling describes a piece worn with the wool inside and the leather surface outside. In our collection the silky texture appears both in fur coats and as the lining of leather coats.
Can a fur coat be bought as a gift, and what if the size is wrong?
Yes; you have a 14-day right of withdrawal and size-exchange support. Length and sleeve adjustments are made in our atelier, or you can choose together in the boutique.
