In Vanessa, two different textures meet in a single piece: the front panels are in thick wool with a curly surface, while the sleeves and back are in lightly glossy, horizontally quilted waterproof puffer fabric. The navy fox fur at the collar forms a full frame around the face; the cuffs are also finished in wool. The diagonal double zip at the front and the slanted zip pockets give the coat a biker-jacket feel. At roughly 70 cm it covers the hips, and inside there is an anti-perspirant ultra-fibre lining. With black leather leggings or slim trousers and ankle boots it creates an urban, pulled-together look; simply add a fine turtleneck underneath. Because navy offers a softer base than black, it also pairs easily with grey, white and cream pieces. A practical winter choice for rainy mornings and cold evening outings.
