Celine takes red leather into a long, midi-length trench coat. Double-breasted metal-framed buttons at the front, storm flaps at the chest and back, shoulder epaulettes and a buckled belt uphold the classic trench vocabulary. At the back, a row of snap fasteners running down the skirt creates a vent that can be opened; the horizontal seam at hip level adds rhythm to the long body. Handcrafted from 100% genuine leather, the thick leather protects against the cold, while the ultra-fibre lining helps prevent perspiration. The product length is 130 cm; on the model it falls to mid-calf. Worn with white or silver-toned heeled shoes, the skirt length is gracefully highlighted; a black dress balances the red.
